1. The raffle
This raffle is a draw lottery conducted by SASAI under the NSW Community Gaming Regulation 2020 and the Community Gaming Act 2018. Proceeds fund SASAI’s community pantry.
2. Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- The people conducting the raffle or determining a winner, and people involved in managing the benefiting organisation, cannot enter.
- SASAI may require proof of age and identity before awarding a prize.
3. Tickets
- Tickets cost $20 each. Packs: 3 for $55, 5 for $85, 10 for $160.
- A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold.
- A buyer may purchase multiple tickets. Every ticket is entered into every prize draw.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. The ticket total is shown before payment and funds go directly into SASAI’s own connected Stripe account.
- Your e-ticket and receipt are emailed to you after purchase. Keep the receipt — it is your proof of entry.
4. Closing date and draw
- Ticket sales close at 8:00 PM AEDT on Saturday 7 November 2026.
- The draw takes place live at 8:45 PM the same evening during the SASAI Pre-Christmas Party at Pabico Club 55, 1 Mt Druitt Road, Mount Druitt NSW.
- You do not need to be present at the draw to win.
- The live digital draw commits to the complete eligible ticket pool and an encrypted random seed before using a pre-declared public future value. It then uses the published SHA-256 rejection-sampling method. The commitment, revealed seed, pool hash and winning ticket numbers are published with the result.
5. Prizes
- Prize 1: Round trip from Sydney to the Philippines (stated value $1,000).
- Prizes 2 and 3: Carnival Cruise for 2 (two identical prizes).
- Prize 4: One night for 2 at Marriott Circular Quay, Sydney.
- Prizes 5 and 6: Lunch for 2 at Skyfeast, Sydney Tower (two identical prizes).
Prizes are not transferable for cash. A participant may win up to two prizes. Prize bookings are subject to the provider’s availability and conditions. There are no bonus prizes.
6. Winners and claiming
- Winners are notified by email, and results are published on this website and SASAI’s Facebook page.
- Prizes must be claimed within 14 days of notification, with proof of receipt.
- Unclaimed prizes may be redrawn in accordance with the NSW Community Gaming Regulation 2020.
7. Questions and changes
Need help? Email info@sasai.org.au or call Jaspher on 0423 910 585. Material changes will be published on this page and notified to entrants by email where reasonably practicable. Complaints should first be sent to SASAI; unresolved community-gaming complaints may be made to NSW Fair Trading.
8. Platform
This raffle website is developed and operated by Solar Orbis Pty Ltd (raffle.solarorbis.com) as software for SASAI, who conducts and is responsible for the raffle. Solar Orbis never holds entrants’ money — payments go directly to SASAI’s own Stripe account.
